Since 2018, Corki Cycles has been producing high-quality bicycle components to cater to the lifetime cycling needs of our customers. As a team of passionate cyclists, our mission is to offer premium cycling components at an affordable price, ensuring that all cyclists can access the best equipment for their bikes.
Corki Cycles was founded by four friends who share a deep love for cycling. Established in June 2018, we turned our passion into a full-time business, determined to create premium-quality bicycles and components that will last a lifetime.
Our vision at Corki Cycles is to provide products for every stage of the cycling journey. We strive to build premium accessories, components, and bicycles that are affordable for cyclists of all ages, allowing them to enjoy the best riding experience.
When it comes to selecting the right disc brake pads, compatibility and material are the most crucial factors to consider. Corki Cycles offers a range of disc brake pad options to suit different riding styles and conditions.
Resin/organic pads are ideal for casual riders, while semi-metallic pads are suitable for more frequent use. For aggressive riding, such as downhill, we recommend multi-metallic/sintered or copper-based disc brake pads, which offer superior braking power and heat dissipation.
The Corki Cycles disc brake pads are designed to be durable, wear-resistant, and long-lasting. We understand the importance of responsive and quick-reacting brakes, and our pads are engineered to provide the perfect thickness for enhanced longevity and wear resistance, while still maintaining split-reaction braking and greater responsiveness on the trails.
Before purchasing, it's essential to ensure compatibility with your existing brakes. The Corki Cycles disc brake pads are compatible with a wide range of popular brake brands and models, including TRP Tektro, Shimano Deore, and more.
To install the new disc brake pads, follow these steps: first, remove your front and rear wheels, then remove the old, worn pads from the front and rear calipers. Check the quality of your brake cable or hydraulic hose, and use a flat tool to push the pistons back, preparing for the new pads. Insert the new brake pads correctly, secure them with the spring and pin, reattach your wheels, and check the disc rotor positioning. If there is any friction or the disc rotor is hard to move, you may need to file the pads slightly, or wait for them to wear down after a few rides.
Corki Cycles is committed to providing our customers with the best cycling experience. We are grateful for the support of our loyal customers, and we look forward to continuing our mission of making cycling accessible and enjoyable for all.
